DescriptionThis hoe tool is constructed of iron and features an extended handle. Rooted back thousands of years, this versatile tool likely served in a variety of agricultural tasks during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, significantly contributing to the development of food and livestock. The elongated handle includes small holes at the top end, accompanied by substantial rusting in a concentrated area just above the openings. The head of the tool is connected by a thinner iron piece, which holds the flat iron plane in place. Significant scratching, rusting, and discoloration are visible throughout the tool's surface, highlighting its usage and handling in agricultural settings over time.On View
