DescriptionThis singletree tool, typically attached to the harness of an animal, helps in balancing the pulling force when carrying a heavy load. The singletree tool showcases a cylindrical, wooden foundation, containing a small metal cover on either end, which features a circular metal loop on either edge. The center of the wood cylinder features a rectangular metal piece with two small loops on each side, securing in place a larger loop in the center. The other side of the singletree does not have any loops in the central metal rectangular piece. Substantial splitting and discoloration are visible throughout the wood's surface, as well as corrosion and rusting on the metal portions due to the tool's usage over time.
