DescriptionThis image depicts an unidentified Native American woman standing in a doorway in a residential area of the Isleta Pueblo located two miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico on Highway 85. The woman is wearing leather shoes, leg wrappings, a dark colored dress, a light-colored shirt, and a dark colored head covering over her hair. The doorway she is standing in is made of adobe and is covered in plaster. On either side of the door way are two adobe walls. A portion of the wall on the right is covered in plaster.
