DescriptionThis image depicts children playing near a large adobe room, or a Kiva, in an area of the Isleta Pueblo located two miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico on Highway 85. The large circular building is two stories tall, is made of adobe, and has a staircase on its outside wall leading to the roof. The ground around the structure is made of packed dirt. The three small children can be seen near the outside wall in front of the building. Two large sticks can be seen sticking up from the building's roof diagonally towards the top right corner of the frame. Portions of other buildings can be seen on the right side of the frame. In the far background, several large trees can be seen sticking up above the building. On View
