DescriptionThree children pose for a portrait at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The children sit in a line side-by-side, looking at the camera and smiling. They all wear white dresses with lace and frill trimmings. Their hair is also arranged to match, inward curled bangs, outward curled hair framed around the face and parted down the center. The child on the left, visibly the oldest, wears a dark, single strand beaded necklace. The child on the right, seemingly the second oldest, looks wide eyed without smiling, holds her hands together in her lap, and wears a ring on one finger.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss. The bottom left corner of the plate is broken and missing.
