DescriptionPortrait of Mrs. W. J. Corbin and her sister seated side-by-side in Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mrs. Corbin is on the right and wears a high-necked lace trimmed dress with a black fitted coat. Her checks are sprinkled with freckles. Her sister wears a light-colored, princess-line style outfit with a high-neck tailored dress, corset, and bustle. A long pin with a pearl-like bead fastens her high collar closed. She also has a long chain necklace with a round pendant poking out from the dress's clasps. Both women's hair is pulled back into chignon buns with curled bangs and the top hair arranged high. Mrs. Corbin is looking to the right of the camera and her sister looks into the camera. They are seated in front of a hand-painted backdrop.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
