DescriptionA studio portrait of George Kay Leis (left seated), Sylvester Frank Leis (standing in the back), Edmund Ross Leis (seated right), and Tracy Flynt Leis (seated center). Edmund and George are seated side-by-side and both wear bowties, slack suit jackets with a pin on the lapels, starched white collars, glass, and have their hair parted to the side. George and Edmund were twins. Behind them, Frank wears a large, voluminous bow around the neck and a button down below it with an oversized collar that covers the shoulders. Seated in front of the gathered group is Tracy. Tracy wears a large lace collar over a wool button-down. Matching lace cuffs are sewn to the wrists. He also wears glasses.

These are the sons of Lillian Ross Leis, the oldest child of territorial governor Edmund G. Ross, who resided in Kansas. Lillian was the sister of Eddie Ross Cobb, the co-owner of a local photography studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
