DescriptionThis map splits the world into two hemispheres on either side of the page with a view of the world in a circular design. Each circle has a yellow border around a thin red line and where the hemisphere connects the lines stop and the world is joined between South America and Africa. On the left side, South America and part of North America are shown, with the northwest of North America uncompleted and large islands depicted in the Pacific Ocean. On the right side, Europe, Africa, and Asia are marked in detail but the land around Australia is incomplete. Across both sides, the lines for the Tropic of Cancer, Tropic of Capricorn, and the Equator are marked in red along with the arctic circle in the north and south with land specifically marked as unknown. The text is all in French.
