DescriptionThis badge, featuring a photograph, is constructed of metal and ribbon. The base colors of this badge are red, white, and blue. The very top metal portion of the badge includes an illustration of white birds in flight, with a golden framing around the metal portion. Underneath this, a ribbon American flag is pictured, with three pieces (left to right) of red, white, and blue ribbon beneath it, making up the remainder of the badge. A circular, black-and-white photograph of Harvey B. Fergusson, a territorial representative to Congress, significantly contributing to New Mexico's statehood, is in the middle of the badge. At the bottom portion of the badge, the text reads, "4th Annual Ball, Fergusson Hook and Ladder Co." with the location and date below this; "Albuquerque, N.M., 1894." On the very bottom of the badge, there is a fray on the ends of all three red, white, and blue pieces of ribbon.
