DescriptionThe Albuquerque Fire Department is associated with this identification badge. The pin showcases a vibrant, scarlet red base color for the ribbon portion, and on the top portion of the ribbon reads, "22nd Annual / Tri-State / Fireman's / Association/ Convention" in small, black lettering. Below, this reads "D / E / L / E / G / A / T/ E" in large, black, bold lettering in a vertical, letter-by-letter format. The date and location are on the bottom of the ribbon, "Aug. 26, 27, 1960 / Grants, N. M." The top paper portion of the pin reads, "Albuquerque, New Mexico / W. A Westerfield, "FIRE CHIEF" in black courier-type lettering. Chief W. A. (Arthur) Westerfeld served as a firefighter in Albuquerque for forty-three years and was the head of the department for thirty-one years.On View
