She is standing in front of a studio backdrop with her left leg turned out and her upper body leaning toward the right of the frame. Her left hand is beside her chest, and her right arm is extended. She is looking toward the right of the frame.
Handwriting on the back reads, "H.P.C Cushing 1885 / To Tallulah From the president of the [?] Chestnut Street Democratic Marching and Chowder Party. 4-18-63".
