DescriptionThis surgical retractor is comprised of a flat silver-steel strip curved 90° in the center. Both ends are slightly wider than the middle, and have large holes towards the ends. One side of the restraint has two, small flat hooks perpendicular to the metal strip. "UNITED SURGICAL N.Y.C. / GERMANY / SILVER STEEL" is stamped onto one of the flat sides of the object. An "F" has been carved into the other end of the object on the same side. No visible corrosion.
