DescriptionA studio portrait of William Henry Cobb and Eddie Ross Cobb with their first-born child, Edmund F. Cobb at their family photography shop, Cobb Studio, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Edmund is toddler age, wears a light-colored dress with a ruffled collar, his hair is long and pulled back from the face. Edmund is between Eddie and William, standing in their laps as they sit. Eddie and William's faces are turned towards each other, resting a cheek on Edmund while Edmund faces forward. Edmund has one arm William and tthe other William holds in his hand. Eddie wear a patterned gigot sleeved dress with a lace collar. Her hair is in a high chignon bun and is pregnant. William wears a dark button-down shirt with a tie and pin attached to his breast, has a mustache, and his hair is cut short, parted to the side and swooped back. William Cobb and his wife, Eddie Ross Cobb, owned Cobb Studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. They had four children. After William's death of tuberculosis in 1909, Eddie continued the business independently. Edmund became a film actor in early Hollywood, known primarily for being a stunt devil and for preforming in Westerns.
