DescriptionA large painting of two children under a rock overhang with a horse in the foreground. One child, wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts, balances on rocks and writes “NYC” on the overhang above a drawing depicting a plane flying toward the World Trade Center. Other drawings including signatures, a scene depicting hanging stick figures, a scratched-out swastika, cornstalks, and geometric symbols. The second child, wearing a yellow shirt and pink shorts, stands on a rock to the left and looks up at the first child with a finger in their mouth. The horse, standing in the bottom center of the canvas, is white with brown spots and is carrying a saddle, blankets, and two plastic jugs on its back. The overhang stretches over a desert landscape with large rocks, cracked soil, desert plants, and a blue sky with clouds. On View
