DescriptionJacoby's Foundry located on South Second Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The foundry is a long and narrow brick building lined with windows, a door, and two large barn door entrances. The open gable pitched roof has a central raised peak with open ventilation slats. The roof also has a chimney and metal smoke stack extruding through it. Outside the foundry is a two-horse drawn wagon with wooden wheels and a child sitting in the wagon. The ground around the building is full of pills of rocks and metal scraps. Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion in the image.
