BiographyFrances Howard Goldwyn, born Frances Howard McLaughlin, was an American actress who was the second wife of producer Samuel Goldwyn. She began her career at 16 with a stock theater company. She was in the Broadway show The Intimate Stranger when she was 21. She signed a five-year contract with Paramount where she acted in three films in 1925 but she cancelled the contract in 1925 when she married Samuel Goldwyn.
