DescriptionThis is a black and white photo of Coretta Scott King with her husband Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King at the Montgomery airport. Mrs. King and Dr. King are both standing in the center of the photo. They are photographed from the waist up. Mrs. King is wearing a black shirt, gray jacket and white pearl necklace. She has a headwrap around her hair and is wearing dark sunglasses staring straight ahead. Her husband, Dr. King is sitting next to her looking just out of frame. He is wearing a white shirt and a white cap. His left hand is crossed over his chest to rest on her left shoulder, showing his wedding ring. Her right hand is resting on top of his and her left arm is crossed over her torso. Behind them are other men and women in formal attire. A blurry outline of a plane can also be seen in the background.
