DescriptionA professional photograph of pilot Roscoe Turner posing by his racing airplane. The registration number, NR61Y, is painted on the tail. The words, "Ring-free Special" are painted on the fuselage of the plane. In the center frame, a man is posing in a military uniform by the left-side facing aircraft. There are trees and mountains in the background.
Handwriting on the front of the photograph reads, "To F. Speakman, Thanks for your assistance in my records, Roscoe Turner".
