DescriptionThis matchbox was made to promote Lorenco's hair salon, a local Albuquerque business in operation since 1978. At that time, Lorenco's operated out of the Kistler-Collister department store. The box frame of this matchbox is a reflective gold color. On the front face, there is the name "LORENCO'S" written in navy in a stylized font. The strike strip is on both horizontal sides of the box. The bottom of the box is also a reflective gold color, with navy text filling most of the space. The text reads "Garden level/KISTLER - COLLISTER/San Mateo & Lomas, NE." There is some slightly smaller text beneath that, which reads, "Hair Design for Men & Women/Nail Boutique/255-8693."
