DescriptionThe exterior of the Montezuma Saloon in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Albuquerque Fire Co. veterans of 1882 are gathered outside the building posing with a parade cart. The float is decorated with at least twelve American flags and banners. In front of the wooden cart are eight elderly men in vests, ties, trousers, and firefighter helmets. Some of them hold buckets. Standing on the float are two children, a boy wearing a peacoat and cap, holding guns, and a girl sitting on a bench, wearing a flouncy high-crown hat and dress. A crowd gathers behind them. The float has a post with a sign reading, "ALBUQUERQUE FIRE CO. 1882 VETS." The adobe bar's exterior wall behind them reads, "MONTEZUMA SALOON."

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
