DescriptionThis image depicts a group of men on horseback in front of the Post Office in the Old Barnett building near the corner of what would become Second Street and Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The small group consists seven men on horseback, another man standing to the left of the building, and a man and a woman standing behind the line of horses under and umbrella. Six of the men on horseback are in military uniforms while the last man is in a dark colored suit. The man on the white horse in the center of the line is John Borradaile. The building in the background has its front lined with windows with the words "U.S. Post Office" above them. The writing on the back of the photograph reads "Gen. Carr & Staff".
