DescriptionThe Albuquerque Guard on horseback in front of the N.T. Armijo home on 106 West Silver Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Guard was led by John Borradaile. The Armijo house was a two-story brick building with a balcony. There are nineteen guards on horseback in matching uniforms including caps with a feather plume and badge, double-breasted jackets with metal buttons, and holding a sword at the right shoulder.
