DescriptionThis image depicts the exterior of one of the smaller buildings near St. Joseph's Sanatorium at 715 East Grand Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. East Grand Avenue is now Dr Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. This building has a peaked roof, is two stories tall, has windows lining both floors, and has a small gazebo on its front lawn. The gazebo also has a peaked roof and is rounded and is completely surrounded by windows. The foreground of this image is taken up by a large lawn are dotted with small trees, large trees, an ornamental cement water fountain, and a set of reclinable lawn chairs. A single brick walkway cuts through the grass and leads to a similar path that circles the fountains. A portion of a large brick and stone building is visible on the left side of the frame.
