DescriptionThis image depicts the exterior garden area outside of St. Joseph's Sanatorium at 715 East Grand Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. East Grand Avenue is now Dr Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. This area is made of a large grassy area shaded by large trees which are dotted around the grass. Down the center of the grass is a cement pathway leading up to a set of cement stairs. On the right side of the stairs is a large shiny metal flower pot. The exterior wall of the building can be seen on the left side of the frame. In the background is a building consisting of a row of patient rooms. On the side of this building facing the camera are windows on either side of a dark colored door inside of a patio screen that surrounds the outside of the patio.On View
