DescriptionThis image depicts an exterior shot of St. Joseph's Sanatorium at 715 East Grand Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. East Grand Avenue is now Dr Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. The foreground of this image depicts two large lawn areas bisected by a single asphalt driveway. The front portion of a vehicle can be seen on the driveway on the left side of the frame. The lawn area on the other side of the driveway has a large ornamental cement fountain on it. No water is flowing from the fountain. Several small trees are also visible on this lawn. The building itself can be partially seen near the left side of the frame in the background. The building is at least three stories tall and is lined with windows on each floor. A majority of it is made of dark colored brick while several of the bay windows are made of a light-colored wood.On View
