DescriptionA group of men and a horse-drawn carriage wait in front of the Armijo House hotel at 302 West Railroad Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The three-story building has a mansard roof and a cement sidewalk in front. A woman in a black dress and white apron stands in a side entryway to the building.

Railroad Avenue's name was changed around 1908 to what is now Central Avenue. Central Avenue also overlaps with the historic Route 66.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
