DescriptionTerritorial Governor Edmund G. Ross after retirement at an adobe homestead in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Edmund wears a felted domed homburg hat, a single-breasted suit jacket, slacks, and work boots. He sits in a darkly painted wooden chair in a dirt yard outside an adobe home. He sits at an angle with his arms relaxed on the chair's armrests. There is a well-worn wooden door and large wooden doorframes in the adobe wall behind him. A large dark dog sits at Edmund's feet and a dark colored cow is behind him in the yard. Infront of the door is a wood plank platform with arranged logs, antlers, and rocks on either side.Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.
