DescriptionThe retired Territorial Governor Edmund G. Ross sits outdoors at his son and daughter-in-law's home, Pitt and Clemmie Ross, at 920 South Barelas Road, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Edmund wears a top hat and suit and leans back into a wooden chair in the dirt yard. Behind him is an adobe home with lace curtains in the windows. There is a well-worn door in the adobe with a small wood plank platform in front of it. An old screen door is propped open against the home with a pile of rocks. On the opposite side is another pile of rocks, stumps and an antler. Beside Edmund sits a large dark colored dog and behind him is a cow. This image is distorted due to the bottom right corner of the glass plate having been broken.
