DescriptionA group of thirty-one children of various ages and six animals pose for a portrait outside of a public school in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The group stands in a dirt field in front of a tall chain link fence. A few houses and trees are in the background. Children stand in the back row, while the children in the front row are kneeling, most holding a pet. On the far left in the front row a girl holds onto the collar of a black and white Boston Terrier dog with its tongue sticking out. In the center of the front row are a dark colored goat, a light-colored lamb, and a dark-colored long-haired dog, each held by a different child. On the far right in the front row is a child holding onto a very small puppy, and another child holding onto the leash of another Boston Terrier with its tongue out. All of the children are facing the camera and squinting into the sunlight. On View
