DescriptionFifteen children stand in a line while holding onto their pets for a "Pet Show" in an open patio area of the Heights Community Center at 823 South Buena Vista Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Included in the line are eight dogs (Spaniels, Terriers, and Dachshunds), one cat, and two guinea pigs. The children are all wearing summer clothes, dresses, short-sleeved shirts and shorts. One dog wears a large name tag that reads, "JILL". All the children are looking toward the camera and squinting into the sunlight. Other people are seated on wooden benches along the back wall of the patio, under a portal. On View
