DescriptionThe German Shepherd, Rin Tin Tin (dark coated dog at left), his owner, Lee Duncan (holding Rin Tin Tin), Rin Tin Tin's mat (Nanette) and two puppies, train conductor (Hamilton J. Tompkins, standing behind the couching individuals to the right), porters, staff, and child (far left) crouch towards a wood planked floor on the platform at the Alvarado station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Behind them is an observation train car deck with a circular sign reading, "California Santa Fe Limited." A leash lays on the ground in front of one crouching train station staff members who is holding one of the puppies.
