DescriptionThis deck of playing cards features illustrations of different bird species in color. The rectangular cards have rounded and the illustrations are detailed, with naturalistic depictions of birds such as the Blue Mountain Lory, Osprey, Cockatoo, Wood Duck, and Red-Headed Woodpecker. Each card contains a ranking system in the upper left corner, such as "A 12," "B 12," and "D 12," as an educational or matching game format. Below the illustrations, the cards list the names of other birds, possibly part of the gameplay instructions. One notable card in the stack features a sepia-toned photograph of birds in a natural setting in front of off-white backgrounds.
