DescriptionLogomachy, a 19th century word-forming card game, is housed in a rectangular red box with the game's title, "Logomachy," artistically rendered in gold lettering on the lid. The interior contains a deck of illustrated playing cards, each marked with letters and ornately decorated with images of birds and floral motifs. The backs of the cards feature a blue-toned illustration of a heron standing among reeds. A printed instruction sheet is affixed to the inside of the box, describing the game's rules and objectives, which involve spelling words to capture opponents' cards. The edges of the cards and box show signs of wear, indicating frequent use.
