DescriptionThis object is a surgical trocar used to make measured punctures during surgical operations. This object has screw-like ridges at its base, allowing other medical devices or supports to be attached. A secondary base tube splits off from the top of the body of the object, which allows for the draining of fluids or the introduction of medicines. The bottom of the object consists of a sharp, triangular point. Some mild corrosion is visible around the puncturing end of the object.On View
