DescriptionThis object is a long, thin cylindrical silver catheter with slight proximal curve and single lateral perforation near the tip. There is a small positioning ring near the base of the object. Very little to no visible corrosion aside from some discoloration around the bend of the object. The smaller width of the object compared to other, wider catheters indicate that this one was likely used for aural, nasal, or urinal operations to drain internal fluids before surgery. On View
