DescriptionThis object is a medical mallet used to drive other medical devices such as trocars or bone chisels. The head of the mallet is a short, cylindrical piece of wood which is affixed to the end of a metal handle. The handle itself widens significantly towards the bottom of the object. "V.MUELLER&Co.GERMANY CHROMIUMED" is stamped in small text on one side of the handle below the mallet head. On the opposite side of the object, "berts" has been carved near the bottom of the handle. Minor cracks and scratches are visible on the mallet head.On View
