DescriptionThis object is comprised of a small, removeable syringe needle within its original packaging. The needle itself has a large metal flange at its base, with a cylindrical socket in order to affix the object to the tip of a syringe. The needle sits within a small, rectangular cardboard box with information regarding the manufacturer, size, and origin of the object. "23 Gauge 3/4 B-D YALE (LAG) No. 1199 / LUER ABSCESS NEEDLE / B-D & YALE T. M. REG. U. S. PAT. OFF. / BECTON, DICKINSON AND COMPANY / Rutherford, N. J. Made in U. S. A." is written on the top of the box. Both the needle and box are in very good condition with little to no signs of corrosion.
