DescriptionA panoramic landscape view of the Middle Rio Grande Valley in Albuquerque, New Mexico from a high vantage-point. The earth is rolling and undulating with sage bushes and other desert foliage sprinkling the sandy ground. In the distance, Albuquerque is seen sprawling into the distance with large multi-story structures, homes, farms, smokestacks and the Rio Grande River with barren land on the West side of it. Mesas begin to rise out of the horizon with a large open sky above it. Silver mirroring, emulsion deterioration, and scratches are occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss in image. The top right corner of this glass plate has been broken off.
