DescriptionThree young men and boys with donkeys pose in front of a tobacconist shop on West Gold Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. One young man sits bareback on a donkey and two others are seated in a small wooden carriage, pulled by another donkey. The Daily Citizen newspaper office is at 113 West Gold Avenue, next to the tobacconist shop is behind them. The three young men are all looking toward the camera.They all wear bowler hats, vests, and ties.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating loss in the image.
