DescriptionA street view of West Gold Avenue in New Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two-story brick storefronts line a paved sidewalk and dirt road. The Daily Citizen Office at 113 West Gold Avenue has a fabric canopy over the display windows which is bunched and tied up against the building. Next door is a grocery store. On this block, at 115 West Gold Avenue on the second floor, was the original Cobb Studio photography shop location. The shop was also where the Cobb family lived.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and image loss. The glass plate is broken in two pieces.
