DescriptionA large two-story home sits in a shaded grassy yard with trees around it and another home it its right. The residence belongs to John M. Moore at 1429 West Railroad Avenue in downtown, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The home has a wraparound porch. In the grass in front of the porch is a group of people. From the left moving right stands a man in a suit facing the side, revealing his left profile. An elderly woman reclines in a wooden chair, also revealing her left profile. A boy sits in the grass with a bicycle behind him. Next is a couple, a woman sitting in a wicker recliner and a man standing behind her.

Railroad Avenue is now called Central Avenue and runs east to west through downtown. Albuquerque. "Railroad Avenue" came from being located along the city's railway and depot. The name was changed between 1907 and 1908. Central Avenue also overlaps with sections of the historic Route 66 Highway.
