DescriptionThe John M. Moore residence at 1429 West Railroad Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is a two-story home with a porch in the background behind a large shaded yard with big trees. A woman stands in the yard behind a picket fence. Leaning against one of the trees are two children. Railroad Avenue is now called Central Avenue and runs east to west through downtown. Albuquerque. "Railroad Avenue" came from being located along the city's railway and depot. The name was changed between 1907 and 1908. Central Avenue also overlaps with sections of the historic Route 66 Highway.
Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
