DescriptionA large three-story home stands inside a fenced in yard beside a dirt road. The residence belongs to S. M. Folsom at 1005 West Railroad Avenue, Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is a horse drawn carriage with two horses and two passengers sitting in the wagon in the road beside the home. Between the fence and road is a line of small, sapling trees with no leaves. The home has a wraparound porch, two chimney stacks and has a box gable style roof.Railroad Avenue is now called Central Avenue and runs east to west through downtown. Albuquerque. "Railroad Avenue" came from being located along the city's railway and depot. The name was changed between 1907 and 1908. Central Avenue also overlaps with sections of the historic Route 66 Highway.
