DescriptionVery early view of Old Town Plaza in Albuquerque, New Mexico, looking south from the fence at San Felipe de Neri Church. The 121-foot flagpole extends from the U.S. Army Guard House (stockade) which later became the Bernalillo County Jail. The circular stockade is located in the center of the frame and is encircled by a white picket fence. Behind, is a row of single-story, connected adobe buildings.Silver mirroring, emulsion deterioration, and scratches is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
