DescriptionThis is the original document declaring Hugo Schulte to be a permanent citizen of the United States. The paper is a faded brown color. The country name is printed at the top and below is the script for proof of citizenship with handwritten signature sections and for dates. It is a document for the Territory of New Mexico, Second Judicial District and is signed at the bottom by a District Clerk. On the reverse is a title page for the certificate of citizenship acting as the front cover when the paper is folded.
