DescriptionThe certificate is made of white paper with black ink and a multicolored seal. The certificate is rectangular and has a black border running along the edge of the paper. Inside the border and at the top of the certificate is a the congressional seal of the United States. The circular seal features a gold eagle in the center of a red field. Its wings are spread and there is an American flag situated vertically on its torso. There are white stars above the eagle. Around the eagle is a blue border that has white text which says "Member of Congress" and "United States of America" at the top and bottom respectively. Around this border is another border that is gold with gold stars interspersed around the circle. Underneath the seal is the title "Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition" in a flowing cursive font. Beneath this title are blank spaces where names and sentences can be written denoting who the certificate is being presented to and for what recognition. At the bottom right corner is a space for the date, and at the bottom left is a space for the signature of Deb Haaland. There is also information about who Deb Haaland is and what district she represents. At the very bottom of the certificate and centered, there is a small printer stamp that is ovular in shape.
