DescriptionA traveling coach carriage with a two-horse team and a single-horse drawn open cart are parked on a suspension bridge across a low river. A carriage driver sits on the high box of the carriage and holds the reins of the horses. A woman stands on the iron railing of the bridge and faces the camera. Two people are seated in the open cart behind the carriage. A person seated on a dark horse is near the base of the bridge toward the right of the frame. Near the right of the frame are two people and a wooden cart in the small scrub plants of the river's bank. The bridge is constructed with cables that connect between the support pylons and are anchored into the ground. The bridge's roadway is made of wooden planks.
