She holds a small purse from a strap in her left hand. She is standing on a rug made of fur. Embossed on the lower part of the postcard is, "The Barnum Studio Albuquerque". Handwriting on the back of the postcard reads, "Dear [obscured] I am sending you one of my pictures it is not very good, but it is the best I could get in post card. Violet.
