DescriptionOfficers' Homes on the campus of the United States Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Five one-story residential buildings on what appears to be a grassy cul-de-sac. A sidewalk separates the homes from the street. Along the street are signs that say “Do Not Park Here”. The houses are stucco-covered, with vigas and canales, and each one appears to have two chimneys and bushes in the front. The trees in the yards are immature. Postcards was mailed in November 1942 from Clovis, New Mexico.

"Hi there! So you got to N.Y.! We got the card you mailed there then. I'm sure you enjoyed it all. Swell weather here at present. Went North of town with Dad and called on Mrs. Betto. They live in the city now you know. Rose went along too. We are both feeling fine and hope you are too. Are you going to get to go to the school? We all hope so. Be carful! Much love".
