DescriptionFirst Street and the front porch of the Alvarado Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Grassy lawns cover the front area and small trees grow along the sidewalk along First Street. Businesses are across the street from the stucco hotel. The hotel has red tile roofing. Handwriting on the back reads, "Albuquerque N. Mexico Dec 8, 1912 Dear Friend, We are all well and having a nice time. Are leaving here this coming Thursday for the Grand Canyon and then to Phoenix, Arizona. Hope this finds you well and we all hope to be in Bethesda early in the Spring. Give my regards to Mrs. Kelly and all. We send our love to you and I will let you hear again from us.
